The main difference between all the options was the amount of storage everything else was all the same. I ended up choosing the option 1 , just because of the higher memory storage it offers, which i believe will come in handy later on in my life.

Think about how much hard drive space you may need though. Do you store and keep a lot of media on your computer? Do you take a lot of pictures? Have a lot of music? videos? Also, what about applications - you have a lot of different packages installed?
ReplyDeleteAlso consider how much hard drive space you currently have and are using. How does that compare?
If 320GB is MORE than enough for you now, chances are you're not going to need much more than that in the future.
On the flip side, IF this is my primary machine and it's where I'm going to store ALL of my media (i.e. I don't have a desktop or other computer where I'll keep all of my pictures etc), then maybe I do need the upgrade.
