I currently use Facebook the web address is http://www.facebook.com/. I use this social network because that is were all my friends are on it , also it has a lot of extra features enabled in the network site also. I created this account when MySpace got out dated, and all my friends and I switched to Facebook. I mainly use Facebook to interact with my friends, also sometimes as my email account. I like it as I can view like the whole community at once, on my home page.
Other networks
• Cake financial – It’s a financial blog website focused on investing. This is a network I would really enjoy joining.
• Fixster – A movie blogging network, talks about movie reviews and new releases. I would join this just because I’m very interested in new movies.
• Playboy U – An network for only college students about just everything in general as far as the content. This interests me because its only allowed access to college students and everybody is around my age type of a network.
I choose Facebook still out of all the networks I have listed and some I have seen through doing my research. First off it is free including all the applications. It is targeted towards all people of all ages. It has storage space but not a lot as I don’t need this as it is not my primary email account. It offers professional and personal networking , with very ease of use , you also make very good resources. Being always on my phone this network is very nice as it is very mobile enriched and is very compatible with a lot of mobile devices. Also offers video / photo sharing . Games and tons of more applications you can access which is neat if you ever get bored there are plenty of applications to keep you entertained.
The main reason I didn’t choose the others is because it doesn’t have everything I desire in one spot. Some have things that interest me like investing news, and college gossip, but I like to have everything on one site not have to go back and forth.
