I currently use Yahoo mail as my email account. There was a specific decision of why I use that as my email, it is because I always use yahoo instant messenger and I figured its all in one program and easy to use, at the same time it is just an email account I created just because.

• Search features within email
• Mobile access an tools
• Email organization
• Online access
• Security features
• Email centralization
• Client access
• Email forwarding
• Integration with productivity applications
• Integration with photo/video sharing
Things I don’t need
• Integration with IM/chat tools
• Integration with social networking
• Integration with blogging
• Integration with VoIP
• Translation services
My email I choose was Windows Live Hotmail. It seemed to have the features I need for now but when hopefully one day down the road when I will be working for a large company. The only drawback is that there is a $20 fee a year to access all the features I want.
The other options I viewed where GMAIL, and Yahoo! Mail. They had a lot to offer and was a hard choice to make, but some didn’t have drop folders while others didn’t have the storage space I requested. Also seemed hard to access mobile as it was not as easy of use overall as my choice was.
